Carmela Morabito

Carmela Morabito, storica della psicologia e delle neuroscienze cognitive, si occupa delle tematiche legate allo studio dei rapporti cervello-corpo-mente-ambiente in una prospettiva storico-epistemologica e interdisciplinare. Ha prodotto numerosi contributi relativi alla nascita della psicologia scientifica, alla storia delle neuroscienze cognitive e all’intersezione disciplinare fra psicologia, filosofia della mente e neuroscienze. Attualmente lavora ad un’indagine storica sul modello motorio della mente e le basi biologiche dell’intersoggettività. Carmela Morabito, historian of psychology and cognitive neuroscience, studies the brain-body-mind-environment relations from a historical-epistemological and interdisciplinary perspective. She has published numerous contributions on the birth of scientific psychology, on the history of cognitive neuroscience and the disciplinary intersection between psychology philosophy of mind and neuroscience. She is currently working on the motor model of the mind and the biological basis of intersubjectivity.
